The Golden Valley Chorus meets each Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. at the
Covenant Village,
2125 North Olive Ave Turlock, California. For those men

Chorus History The Golden Valley Chorus came
into existence as a result of the merger of Oakdale Chiefs of
Harmony, Modesto Melody Makers and the Yosemite Gateway
Chorus in January 1997. Our first director was Mr. Jim Turnmire.
GVC became Division Champions at the first NorCal East
competition in May of the same year. With the retirement
of Mr. Turnmire, the Chorus was then under the capable direction of
Mr. Dain Goad. Dain recently moved to Southern California and as of
January 1, 2010 we have a new director Mr. Bruce Sellnow. Under
his capable leadership we will continue to provide a learning, competitive, fun oriented opportunity for our
membership.
